A game I am developing for web and possibly mobile

Here you can follow my progress as I develope this game using Blender, Photoshop, After Effects, and GameMaker HTML5. Tutorials coming soon!

Overland Missions logo animation

I've been asked to animate Overland Missions' logo. Here you can see what I've got so far, as well as past iterations.

Quick Tip: Advanced Stitching

My latest tutorial, which was featured on Blendernation.com Wtv3D.com. In this tutorial you will learn... * An advanced way to stitch without adding needless geometry with edge loops * This is also a great way to add geometry, without using edge loops, for modeling complex areas.

Demo Reel 2012

Breakdown

    Project Aleah
Still largely a work in progress, Project Aleah is the culmination of everything I know.  This video is meant to be a proof of concept.  For my senior project I set out to accomplish as much as I possibly could in 10 weeks while keeping a part time job.  And this is what I came up with.
It is a game I am developing for Web, and possibly Mobile.  With the exception of creating sound effects, all the work is my own.  Concept/Art, Modeling, UVs, Textures, Skinning, Rigging, Cloth Simulation, Lighting, Rendering, Compositing, Title Effects, GML Scripting, etc...  When complete I will also have nature, fluids, smoke, and camera tracking.  As well as HTML, and Java scripting where necessary.  You can Follow my progress here

CLONES
Rotoscoping and Compositing in After Effects CS5
This was a group project done over 10 weeks time.  You can see the video and read the full breakdown HERE

I worked on almost every shot in this film.  These two shots are entirely my work. All the rotoscoping, compositing, and effects for these two shots were done by myself only. NO GREEN SCREENS WERE USED

For this animation I am using the free Norman Rig.  Animated in Maya.  I also tracked some home footage in SynthEyes and used it to animate the camera in Maya.

Canned Animations
Character modeled in Blender, UV'd, Textured, Rigged, & Animated in Maya.
This video features a play-blast of some basic canned animations using the tracks editor.

Camera motion from some home footage was tracked in SynthEyes and added to the Camera in Maya.

Walk & Jump animation.  This was my first off post animation.
Animated in Maya
Model & Rig were provided by the teacher

For my final project in my 3D animation I class,  I had to take this rig and animate it however I liked for 15-30 seconds. I had not yet gotten into wait and balance, but I thought I'd give it a go. Anyway, here's what I came up with.  Animated in Maya.

Animated in Maya using the Leon rig
I also Lit the scene and Rendered with Mental Ray

Beginner Mistakes: Modeling?

I want to tackle beginner mistakes in modeling for my next tutorial. I'll show how to bevel

edges and stress the importance of modeling in multiple views instead of just one. Those are

the two most common mistakes I've noticed. Let me know if you can think of any others?
